Doula Support

Bringing a new baby into the world is a life-changing moment—one that deserves care, calm, and confidence. A birth doula is a trained support person who stays by your side throughout labor and delivery, offering continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. Unlike a doctor or nurse, your doula isn’t focused on medical tasks. Instead, she’s focused entirely on you—your comfort, your voice, and your birth experience.

Research shows that having a birth doula can lead to better outcomes, including shorter labors, fewer interventions, and higher satisfaction with the birth experience. Doulas help reduce the chances of unplanned cesareans and increase the likelihood of breastfeeding success. But most importantly, a doula helps you feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way.

Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, birth center delivery, or home birth, we meet you where you are—with compassion, knowledge, and unwavering presence.

Doula Package Options

I offer several levels of doula service to accommodate your specific needs.  Let’s meet for a free consultation over zoom or in the NE-SA area to discuss what makes a good birth for you and how I can help.

Birthmark Package
$1,600

All inclusive service through your pregnancy, labor and birth experience.

  • Two prenatal sessions where we will go over some of the most common choices you have when giving birth in hospital or home.
  • We will use this time to define terms commonly used, and answer your questions about prenatal care, labor & delivery, and breastfeeding.
  • We will finish with the creation of a framework for a personalized and effective birth plan.
  • You’ll receive 24-7 phone and email support ten days before and ten days after your due date.
  • I will attend and continuously support you and your partner throughout your labor, delivery and immediate postpartum.
  • I will visit one to three weeks after your baby’s birth to process your experience, answer any questions about your child’s birth, and connect you with resources for any new parent support you may feel you need.
  • I will also provide an additional prenatal OR postpartum session. This service is perfect for planning or setting up a blessing way ceremony, a fear release or birth visualization session. Alternatively this is also of great use to process your postpartum experience and integrate techniques for emotional and physical recovery from birth.
  • A postpartum herbal soak prepared by me, specially formulated by an experienced herbalist for postpartum recovery. Postpartum transition can be made easier for many of my clients by creating a safe and private space to process after the birth. This is a session where the intense anxieties and feelings surrounding the birth experience can be metaphorically and literally drained away. Moms come away from this experience rejuvenated and ready step out of postpartum to embrace this new life and identity.

Standard Doula Service
$1,260

This is a typical tier of service.

  • Two prenatal sessions where we will go over some of the most common choices you have when giving birth in hospital or home.
  • We will use this time to define terms commonly used, and answer your questions about prenatal care, labor & delivery, and breastfeeding.
  • We will finish with the creation of a framework for a personalized and effective birth plan.
  • You’ll receive 24-7 phone and email support ten days before and ten days after your due date.
  • I will attend and continuously support you and your partner throughout your labor, delivery, and immediate post partum.
  • I can assist with initial breastfeeding if you have chosen to do so.
  • I will visit one to three weeks after your baby’s birth to process your experience, answer any questions about your child’s birth, and connect you with resources for any new parent support you may feel you need.

Beyond the Blueprint
$800

This is a package of reduced doula services.  In addition to the services offered with the “Blueprint”* 

  • You’ll receive 24-7 phone and email support ten days before and ten days after your due date
  • Multiple revisions of your birth plan as needed
  • You will receive FOUR hours of continuous doula support – on call as you need (hourly fee thereafter)
  • You choose whether our two (two hour) prenatal material should condensed to one extended meeting (a la carte education)

Birth Blueprint
$400

Two prenatal seminars to prepare you for the basics of what to expect from labor and the birth experience.

  • In our sessions we will go over some of the most common choices you have when giving birth in hospital or home.
  • We will use this time to define terms commonly used, and answer your questions about prenatal care, labor & delivery, and breastfeeding.
  • We will finish with the creation of a framework for a personalized and effective birth plan.
  • A special gift for mama.
